Baker Klein Engineering Wins 2008 Historic Commercial Renovation Award

In 2005 Baker Klein Engineering (BKE) purchased the old Macedonia Church of Deliverance on Walnut Street in the historic area of Springfield in Jacksonville, FL.  BKE performed the architectural and structural design and sub-contracted out the mechanical and electrical design of the restoration.  BKE acted as the prime contractor on the project and sub-contracted out the various phases of the restoration.  The final restoration was completed January 2, 2008.  In December 2008, BKE received the honor of wining the Northeast Florida Builders Association Award for the 2008 Historic Commercial Renovation.
